Helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon

For your helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon you can take off from Grand Canyon South (Tusayan), from Las Vegas or Grand Canyon West.

Departing from the Grand Canyon South (Tusayan)

The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is the most touristy and beautiful part of the Grand Canyon National Park. Helicopter tours depart from the town of Tusayan which is 12 minutes from the entrance to Grand Canyon National Park.

A classic Grand Canyon helicopter tour takes you over the Kaibab National Forest which is home to some of the largest ponderosa pines in the world, before entering the Grand Canyon, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. Continuing north through the Dragon Corridor, the deepest and widest part of Grand Canyon National Park, discover how the Colorado River has carved its way through the rugged but beautiful landscape.

Departing from Las Vegas

All Grand Canyon flights from Las Vegas take you to Grand Canyon West. Only at Grand Canyon West can you land at the bottom of the canyon.

You will fly over the breathtaking landscapes of the Mojave Desert, the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, the Colorado and the Grand Canyon itself. You can even walk on the glass Skywalk bridge, a platform suspended 1.2 kilometers above the canyon!

Departing from the Grand Canyon West

Far from the crowds of Grand Canyon South, a 2.5 hour drive east of Las Vegas, Grand Canyon West offers incredible experiences in the territory of the Hualapai Indian tribe.

Tours in Helicopter takes you quickly to the bottom of the canyon to the Colorado River, descending through layers of ocher and caramel rocks. Once at the bottom of the canyon, you can even take a boat ride on the Colorado River.
